Todd & Kim Donaldson - [E-mail Todd]
Todd grew up in East Asia, the son of missionaries with OMF (Overseas Missionary Fellowship). Most of his time was spent in Thailand. After returning to the States and graduating from High School in South Carolina, he studied Physical Education at Troy State University, AL.
After graduation, he began working at Ida Lee Recreation Center in Leesburg, VA. This is where he met Kim. Kim grew up in the United States living in Arizona, Oklahoma, New Jersey and Virginia due to numerous transfers for her father's employment with the US government. She graduated from high school in Manassas, VA. She then headed to the University of Virginia and spent 6 years there, earning a BSEd. in Sports Medicine and a MEd. in Exercise Physiology. Following college, she began to work at Ida Lee too. After a 10 month missionary apprenticeship in Thailand with OMF, Todd returned to the States. We were married on October 4, 1997 and began our ministry at New Life Bible Camp just a week later. We have five wonderful children, Timothy, Bailey, Abigail, Chloe, and Quincy. Our family loves camp! The wide open spaces allow our family to enjoy wooded forests, fishing on the pond, our miniature pony, the camp horses, the tree fort, and many other camp 'amenities' that many other kids would love to have in their backyard. Our children are homeschooled by the world's best teacher, Mommy! We love the literature we read and the flexibility to school around the crazy camp schedule.
Andy Maples - [Email Andy]
In April 1990, Andy Maples came New Life Bible Camp to help finish work on the new gym. The original plan was to stay for 2 weeks. That was over 25 years ago. Andy's responsibilities at camp include leading worship, speaking during the evening meetings of summer camp, developing the summer camp small group Bible Studies, and finding way to use my musical and speaking abilities to minister to the many local churches in the area surrounding Buffalo Mills, PA. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Theology through Trinity College and Seminary, and his Master, and a Master's of Divinity degree through Christian Biblical Institute. Andy has a deep and abiding passion for worship leading, songwriting and acoustic guitar music, and finding way to impact youth through Christian camping. He's looking forward to sharing what God has taught him with those he comes in contact with at camp this summer.
